Apache the Cybernetic Athelete!

Hugh Rose has recently finished a new custom which was commissioned by a client in Australia. The piece is called 'Apache the Cybernetic Athelete' and was hand-painted using Games Workshop model paint. The design was inspired both by racing and fighter jet decals and by native american art. Hugh is doing some amazing work at the min and I think he's definitely one to look out for in the future!

Wooden Sky Monkey by Hugh Rose

Hugh Rose is an artist/illustrator from a small island called Guernsey in the English Channel. He's just sent us news about his latest custom Munny called the 'Wooden Sky Monkey'. He's a 7'' KidRobot MUNNY, created for the KidRobot Muny Munth Contest. He took between 12 and 14 hours to paint using Games Workshop model paints and Uni POSCA markers. He will be for sale on Hugh's website when the winners of the competition are announced on the 15th July. Here's the backstory:

''Wooden Sky Monkey is a huge wooden automaton built by monkeys and animated by their monkey magic. He towers above the trees, protecting the forest, while the monkeys snooze and groom each other in his interior cabins.''

Click HERE to visit Hugh's website lots of other custom vinyl toys as well as lots of images of his art, graffiti and illustration work.

Popeye, after the cameras stopped rolling: 10" Da Minci

Southerndrawl has revealed his second piece for the 5-eyed Dragon show at Dragatomi on April 10th. The piece is called 'Popeye, after the cameras stopped rolling: 10" Da Minci' - and here is his profile:

'After Popeye stopped acting, he never touched another can of spinach again, got the tats he wanted and started hitting the sauce.'

I personally think this custom is amazing - very detailed and great concept!
